A call on Sustainable Aquaculture Research is currently open.
AQUASERV Launched in 2024 with €8.5 million in funding, this project supports scientifically sound projects and strengthens collaboration across leading public and private research institutions in Europe.
Through six major research infrastructures, AQUASERV offers:
- Over 600 specialised marine and freshwater research services
- Access to 60 facilities in 16 European countries
- On-site or remote access, depending on the service
For selected projects, AQUASERV can fund:
- Access to specialised research services and facilities
- Standard laboratory consumables
- Travel and accommodation for on-site access
All projects must be feasible, scientifically robust, and aligned with European research priorities.
The general Open Call is continuously open, with evaluation rounds in March, July, and November. AQUASERV also launches thematic calls addressing specific challenges.
