ESPP is organising a workshop on Nutrient sustainability in aquaculture and fisheries in Bergen

With confirmed participation of the European Commission, key aquaculture industry players (fish farmers, feed suppliers), major R&D initiatives and networks, and also of UNEP and the Norway authorities, the workshop will cover topics as

• Nutrient flows in aquaculture, potentials for circularity and improved nutrient use efficiency
• Nutrient sustainability as part of aquaculture industry sustainability vision and strategies
• Efficiency of use of nutrients in aquaculture feed
• Technical aspects of recycling of aquaculture sludge (collection, processing, biomass growth) and regulatory challenges
